The Vision

Closing the gap in STEM education.

A university for what's being built next — designed from scratch for the world our students will actually enter.

The Bentonville Institute of Technology™ was founded on a forward-looking belief: closing the gap in STEM education and preparing students for an unpredictable, tech-driven future takes creativity, bold innovation, and a fresh start. We are designing an academic model built from first principles for the systems, tools, and challenges our graduates will navigate.

Students today need more than knowledge. They need hands-on experience, opportunities to learn from experienced mentors and collaborate with peers, and the confidence to employ emerging technologies to create value for themselves and others.

The university is a new, STEM-focused, business-infused institution opening in Bentonville, Arkansas, with its first degree-seeking class enrolling in 2029. It will feature:

  • Small class cohorts and intimate studio sections that keep learning personal.

  • Exceptional faculty who are agile and connected, and who bring research and industry experience into the learning environment.

  • Project- and studio-based learning, organized around real systems and problems.

  • Industry-embedded experiences, connecting students directly to the companies and institutions shaping the future.

  • A well-rounded foundation that pairs technical depth with communication skills, entrepreneurial mindset, systems thinking, design, AI, ethics, and leadership.
